Cordell played the part of Squanto (the Indian) for the 1st grade Thanksgiving pageant today. He did a great job.

Yesterday I overheard Jennifer tell her brothers that she doesn't want to have kids because they are too much work!! I think that girl is wise beyond her years. You're not supposed to realize that until you already have kids and it's too late. I'm sure over the years she'll change her mind (I hope she does), but when she has 4 or 5 kids and complains about how hard it is, I'll remind her of what she said when she was five!! I told her it is a lot of work, but so worth it!!

Then on the way home from church today I was asking Landon if he was good in class. He said, "Well, I was a little naughty, but a lot good."

My kids LOVE Taylor Swift. They will all belt out her songs, even the boys!!

Landon sleeping

So, I haven't posted a funny picture lately of Landon or Jess and their funny sleeping habits. I caught Jess sleeping in a funny position the other day, but he woke up right before I took the picture, I even had the camera in my hand. Oh well, I'm sure I'll catch him again. But I couldn't resist this picture of Landon.

I went in to check on the boys before going to bed, and this is how I found Landon sleeping


I put him back up on his bed because I'm sure he couldn't hold that position all night. No wonder he falls off the bed all the time!!

Camille likes sleeping on the floor!!

So, I've talked before about how Camille always falls asleep on the floor. Whenever I know she's tired, I'll try everything to get her to sleep. Put her in her crib, hold her, and rock her, but she just fights it. So, if I just leave her alone, a little while later, I'll find her asleep on the floor and put her in her bed. Once she's asleep, she stays asleep. I used to feel bad that she fell asleep on the floor all the time, but whatever works, I guess. So, the next two pictures are taken the same day (hence the same clothes), only one is taken in the morning and one is taken later in the afternoon. Both times she fell asleep on the floor. The third picture is of her falling asleep on the table while eating.

Landon's 4th Birthday

He wanted an ice cream cake so his dad stopped at Cold Stone and got him one!!

He wanted pizza for dinner. That's what he has all over his face!

He wanted one of these gumball machines after seeing them in the store. So in the video you can hear him say, "A gumball machine. I really wanted that. How am I going to open it?" Then Camille steps in front of the camera, but she's so cute so I left it running.

Jennifer didn't go quite as overboard as the boys. I think she had more on her clothes than on her face.
