Update on the house. Just a little late...

These are the footings for our house that we formed and poured and in the corner you can see the form for the walls going up.

We found these solid alder doors from a lady on Craigslist for a screaming deal and she had enough for our house, so we got them. I LOVE them. They are going to look so good once we get them stained and hung!

Kids' Triathlon

Wow! I am really behind on my blog. Like all the way back to May I have missed stuff, so I will attempt to catch up...be prepared for multiple entries...I got caught up until the end of the summer. Look for Camille's and Landon's birthdays, Halloween, and updates on the house to come soon...

My older 3 kids did a kids' triathlon this August. Their Rickabaugh cousins did it with them. It was so much fun to watch them, and they loved doing a triathlon like mom and grandpa Fuhriman. Cordell did a 75 yard swim, mile and a half bike, and a mile run. Jennifer and Landon did a 50 yard swim, mile bike, and half mile run.

Barrus Family Reunion

Over the 4th of July weekend we had an 80th birthday party for Jess's grandma and a reunion. All 10 of her living kids and spouses were there along with most of her grandkids and great grandkids. I think there was close to 100 people! It was crazy but fun!! i didn't get many pics but I did get some of the baseball game. Everyone laughed that we were able to fill 4 full baseball teams, a bleacher full of people watching, kids playing on the playground, and others eating and visiting all from one family!!

Waltman party!

Todd and Kristie were some of our really good friends in Middleton. They bought a new house with some acreage and had a party one time when we were visiting so we could come. LOVE these guys!!

Williard Bay triathlon

I did three triathlons this summer. The first one I did with my dad at Williard Bay. The weather was perfect and it was fun to do it with my dad, even if he did beat me :)

My dad took 2nd place in his age group. Getting his medal.


After the race. Jess bought me all new gear for my next one. A new bike, a wetsuit, and new running clothes. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics of any of those. Next summer I plan on doing 3 or 4. I LOVE them and I am addicted!!

Cordell's Birthday

Cordell is growing into a great boy. I can't believe he's 9 and in 9 more years he will be 18. Happy birthday buddy! We love you!!
