Feeding the ducks

We went to IF one Sunday after church with the Rickabaughs' to feed the ducks and take the kids' pics by the temple. There were lots of people there feeding them too, but there were lots of ducks waiting to be fed. They were not shy. They would come right up to the kids especially and eat out of their hands.

They especially liked Camille, maybe because she is about their size. We would give her a piece of bread and she would barely have time to break off a piece before they would come up to her. The first time it scared her and she threw the piece and the bird went after it and left her alone. This bird got her before she even had a chance to break off a piece and took the whole thing!!



Landon was too scared to let the ducks get too close, so he was sad that he didn't get a picture feeding the ducks. So, on our way home we pulled over and told him to go feed the fake duck and we would take a pic. He thought we were stupid, but did it anyway.



Then the other kids wanted their pics with the fake ducks and we thought this pic looked like the duck was eating Cordell's ear.
